BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN PALSGAARD MANOR PARK
Svanehuset
The small yellow building known as "Svanehuset" (Swan cottage) was, like many other structures in the area, built by Magdahl Nielsen. It was originally connected to the Gardener's House and included facilities such as restrooms for the gardening staff.
The name "Svanehuset" comes from the story that Elisabeth Schou had the building constructed so the swans in the park could spend the winter in warmth.
The Gardener's House has since been demolished, but the Swan House is still standing.
