With the new sculpture park in Humlegaarden, the Schou Foundation wants to develop the park for the benefit of both employees and visitors to Palsgaard.
The sculpture park has been created as one work in collaboration with the visual artist Bjørn Nørgaard.

About the artist
Bjørn Nørgaard is one of the most important Danish visual artists of the post-war period. He is known for his provocative and politically engaged works, ranging from sculptures and installations to happenings and performance art.
Nørgaard was born in Copenhagen in 1947. He has had a great influence on Danish and international art with his uncompromising search for new forms of expression and his ability to put current issues up for debate.
Some of his best-known works include The Horse Sacrifice, The Red Dogs, and the tapestries for Christiansborg Palace. He has received numerous prizes and honors, including the Eckersberg Medal and the Thorvaldsen Medal.
